Johanna was and is a dream photographer. From the very beginning she was so easy to work with, always responding to emails quickly, and even hopping on a phone call so I could ask her all of my questions. Every second communicating with her was great, because she's such a warm person. On the wedding day she was just perfect. She makes you feel comfortable and confident immediately. Most people use the engagement session as a way to get to know their photographer - I was lucky enough to have had a photographer at my actual engagement, so I never got to meet Johanna before my wedding. I think it is a testament to how talented she is, and how amazingly she captured the day, even without meeting us first. On top of it all, her birthday was the day after my wedding and I asked her to just enjoy her day and not worry about getting my sneak peeks to me - instead I woke up to dozens of spectacular photos. She went out of her way to have an intro meeting to discuss her work and answer all our questions. She is so responsive to email and has amazing suggestions to simple wedding inquiries (colors, veil & details…). Next, she is so efficient with her time, we used the engagement package time for a family portrait session so that we could get to know her style and we immediately felt so comfortable.
